We leven in een samenleving die zich in een doodsspiraal bevindt (Schippers et al, 2023), grotendeels als gevolg van valse perceptie (¬p)( Capra, Fritjof 1991). Mensen denken dat ze controle hebben over complexiteit, of complexe systemen zoals de samenleving, het weer, het klimaat, geopolitiek, handel of het bedrijfsleven.  'Samenleving of maatschappij' is gelijkwaardig aan ‘Symbiose’, het samenleven van verschillende soorten met als doel te evolueren' (Margulis, Lynn, 1998). Mensen lijken niet te begrijpen hoe de natuur en de werkelijkheid functioneren. Ze hebben op school geleerd dat de natuur competitief is en dat overleven van de sterkste de doelstelling is, maar dat is een achterhaalde, Cartesiaanse en destructieve perceptie. The information paradox We are living in a society which finds itself in a death spiral (Schippers et al, 2023) largely due to false perception (¬p)(Capra, Fritjof 1991). People believe they can control complexity, or complex systems such as society, the weather, climate, geopolitics, trade or business. The best definition for society I find is the one in Dutch, ‘samenleving’ which means ‘living together’,  equivalent to Symbiosis, living together of different species with the purpose to evolve’(Margulis, Lynn1998 People do not seem to understand how nature and reality function. They have been taught in school that nature is competitive, and that survival of the fittest is key, but that is an outdated, Cartesian and destructive perception. A recent book by Peter Oborne titled The Assault on Truth (2021) describes the cognitive failures of Boris Johnson and Donald Trump, who believe that lying gets them ahead: “Johnson was 23 when he was first sacked for lying”. This book features a listing of events, talks, political turmoil and societal effects caused by information deficit, which demonstrates that Fritjof Capra’s observation of a crisis of perception is correct. Elke ideologie is potentieel schadelijk voor leven en bestaan, omdat het nooit genoeg energie = informatie, zal hebben om gebruikt te worden, dus alleen zou gedijen in onzekerheid (entropie) door middel van pressie. Ideologieën zijn noodzakelijkerwijs nooit haalbaar omdat de wetten van de fysica ze verbieden.
