  De Europese wetgeving over cyberveiligheid en desinformatie is angstaanjagend. Een niet-gekozen orgaan van zogenaamde experts op het gebied van wetenschap, gegevens en informatie gaat bepalen wat waar en onwaar is. Wie heeft 1984 gelezen? Op de website van de EU kun je lezen: De Commissie pakt de verspreiding van online desinformatie en verkeerde informatie aan om de bescherming van Europese waarden en democratische systemen te waarborgen.  EDMO, kort voor European Digital Media Observatory, is een onafhankelijk observatorium dat fact-checkers en academische onderzoekers met expertise op het gebied van online desinformatie, sociale mediaplatforms, door journalisten aangestuurde media en mediageletterden samenbrengt. Mijn vraag is: wie zijn deze mensen? Ik heb gegoogled maar kon nog geen lijst vinden van deze mensen en de bedrijven waar ze voor werken.
